I have started reading GMH and it is so inspirational in that, you don't need to give a lot but just the thought can make a difference to someones day.

I always thought that my mere coins can't possibly provide the homeless beggers with much, however, now I know just the thought of me willing to give can make their day.

I get so sad when I see the little old Asian lady that roams CBD and looks through bins, I even take my wallet out ready to give her money but I get told she will probably feel insulted incase she wasn't in need. Next time I will definitely give her money despite all, and I must give the money for the Big Issue from that little old man that always used to sell at USYD and not take the copy just so he can sell an extra one.

I am now determined to give even more to them and do a random act of kindness a day.

This made me cry.

A boy was dying of cancer and needed an expensive brain surgery, but his family, broke and desperate, couldn't afford it. His 8 yr old took sister Tess took her piggy bank savings to a pharmacist in order to buy a 'miracle'. it just so happens that the right man witnessed the little girl's tears at the pharmacy counter: a neurosurgeon. He performed the surgery for free.
